Yes, we accept EPC Care Plans through your GP here at Evolutio. Please note that we have to charge our standard rates ($175 Initial and $115 follow-up). We will then send you an invoice, which you can claim back from Medicare, approximately $60 per session. We have to charge full price, as it’s very difficult for our Physiotherapists to survive with what Medicare will pay a practitioner for 30 minutes of work. We hope you understand.

Do you accept Department of Veterans Affairs cards?

Yes we accept Department of Veterans Affairs Cards. If you’re a DVA patient. We can bulk bill directly all gold card members, just bring in your card or upload it when booking. If you’re a white card holder, we just need your card and a referral from a GP for Physiotherapy. If you need any help with this, just contact us via info@evolutio.com.au

Why are your Private Prices higher than those of other Clinics?

Our prices are set based on our extremely high levels of skills and experience, built on the back of over 14 years operating as a business, over 40 years experience as a team of practitioners, and 10 years as the number one clinic in Australia. Our healthcare providers have all been trained at an extremely high level. In addition, running a business in inner Melbourne comes with extremely high operating costs, including rent.

How do I Pay for my appointment?

For Payments, we can provide you with the option to pay online at the time of booking or after your appointment. If you have a Private Health card with you, or you have your private health on your phone. You can bring it in, we can tap on site and then you just pay the GAP, your private health will pay us a portion.

Alternatively, we also accept both cash and card payments.

How do I Use my Healthfund and Claim?

To claim with private health, it’s best to double-check check you have sports medicine and physiotherapy coverage, then bring your card with you to your appointment. We can swipe or tap your card, and then you pay the gap (The health fund will pay us the remaining amount).

Suppose you don’t have your card. You can use your phone (Medibank and link your card), or we can send you an invoice which you can enter online to be reimbursed by your fund.

Can I talk to a Physiotherapist first before coming in?

Sure, we’d be more than happy to chat to you. If you whatsapp message +61430436531, our first available Physio will call you back as soon as they can for a chat about your issue and to guide you. Alternatively you can call us at +6191003798 or email info@evolutio.com.au, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Is there any obligation to continue seeing a practitioner?

No, there’s no obligation to continue to see a practitioner. If you felt like it wasn’t the right fit for you, just let us know and we can rebook you in with another practitioner who might be a better fit. In addition, you don’t have to continue coming in for appointments. However, we usually find, depending on the injury, that some injuries do need time and ongoing appointments for you to get back to 100%, so we always recommend following the guidance of your healthcare provider.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

We ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. You can easily do this via the confirmation email sent through at the time of booking. If it’s less than this, we will need to charge for the full appointment cost, as it’s common for us to not be able to fill that appointment time with little notice. For extenuating circumstances, we will understand. However we just ask that you understand that we are a business that relies on consistency and people committing to their times, otherwise we will have to charge in order to stay in business.
